Privacy policy contents
Who we are

For privacy questions, requests or concerns, contact us at hello@conviboost.com.

If we agree to provide services, additional project or contractual privacy information may also apply. This notice does not govern websites or services operated by other organisations that we may link to.

Legal obligation and our legitimate interests in protecting our business and legal rights.
Cookies and analytics choices
We use a strictly necessary local-storage record to remember your analytics choice for up to six months. It does not identify you across other websites and is not used for advertising.
If you accept analytics, the Google tag loads and Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> first-party cookies for up to six months. They distinguish visitors and preserve session information. We configure advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals as disabled.
If you reject analytics, the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics information is sent by our implementation. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy button. Withdrawing consent blocks future measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only where needed for the purposes in this policy, under appropriate confidentiality, security and data-processing arrangements.
- Website hosting, infrastructure and email providers that deliver the site and transmit enquiries.
- Supabase, which hosts the Personal Trainer App interest database and provides its supporting infrastructure.
- Google, only after analytics consent, as the provider of Google Analytics.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors or contractors where their work reasonably requires access.
- Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
- A purchaser or successor if Conviboost. is reorganised, sold or transferred, subject to appropriate safeguards.
International transfers
Some service providers, including Google and Supabase or their subprocessors, may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where a destination is not covered by UK adequacy regulations, we require an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
How long we keep data
We may delete data sooner when it is no longer needed. We may retain limited information for longer where the law requires it, a dispute is ongoing, or it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- General enquiries: normally up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless they lead to a contract or a longer period is needed for a legal claim.
- Personal Trainer App interest records: while the offer is being administered and normally for up to 12 months after the offer or application is closed. Records for accepted clients may become contract records.
- Contracts, invoices and related transaction records: normally six years after the relevant relationship or accounting period ends, where required for tax, accounting or legal-claims purposes.
- Temporary contact-form rate-limit records: approximately 15 minutes.
- Analytics consent preference: up to six months, after which we ask again.
- Google Analytics cookies: up to six months. User and event data in the Analytics property is retained for no longer than 14 months; aggregated statistics that no longer identify an individual may be kept for longer.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive certain data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time.
These rights are not absolute and exemptions may apply. To exercise a right, email hello@conviboost.com. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month.
You have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Tell us what you object to and why, and we will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing is needed for legal claims.
Your choices and required information
You do not have to accept analytics and refusing it does not limit access to the website. Information marked as required in a form is needed so we can understand and respond to the request. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to handle the enquiry or registration.
Please do not include health information, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive personal data in free-text website forms unless we specifically ask for it through an appropriate secure process.
Automated decisions and children
We do not use website data to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Personal Trainer App places are approved after a final consultation, not by an automated decision.
This business website and its offers are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it.
How we protect data
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access controls, restricted database operations, input validation and anti-abuse controls. No internet service is completely secure, but we review safeguards and limit access to people and providers who need it.
Questions and complaints
Please contact us first at hello@conviboost.com so we can try to resolve your concern.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority. Current contact details and the complaint process are available at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. The ICO helpline is 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version here and update the effective date. If a material change affects a consent you have given, we will ask for fresh consent where required.
